Captured Emotion Documentaries
The forum is looking for volunteers to help out during from Thursday, December 2 to Sunday, December 5 at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge. Volunteers are asked to commit to one or more 5 hour shifts and have the benefit of receiving an all-access pass for entry to all of the films and panels.
There will be seven feature-length documentaries and four shorts playing at the forum. This is a great way to get involved in the Boston documentary community, so please check out the link for more info!
New documentary Waiting for Superman is playing at the Kendall Square Cinema and we have planned a trip to see this new doc about America’s education system, directed by Davis Guggenheim.
We will be going to the 9:30 PM screening on Wednesday, November 17th. Kyle and Lindsey will meet those interested in heading over as a group in the LB lobby and will be leaving at 8:30 PM.
This is in lieu of our regularly scheduled meeting, so please come if you are at all interested. It will be a great experience to see a new documentary and have the chance to discuss it with the group!
Greetings fellow Captured Emotion members!
Our social networking capacities are up and running once again and we hope to use our blog, Twitter, and Facebook to keep everyone up-to-date about our meetings, screenings, guest speakers, productions, and documentary events going on in the Boston area! So be sure to check out the blog regularly for updates.
And, the great thing about our blog is that everyone can be involved on input into our screenings and productions and to let people know about doc events going on. So please participate and make this an open forum for documentary discussion!
Here they are folks! Make sure to congratulate them if you see them around campus!
